Dr. Veronica DiMario (or Dr. V, as she prefers to be called) grew up in Northwest Indiana. She took an interest in teeth in the 7th grade and has only ever wanted to be a dentist since then. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Mary's College and went on to graduate from Northwestern University Dental School. She then lived and practiced in Chicago for over 20 years. She worked in private practice, owned her own office, and has worked in several community and public health centers, helping underserved children, homeless, and HIV+ communities. She moved to Fort Wayne eight years ago, where she resumed her commitment to public dentistry. Continuing her work with kids, she is working now in mobile dentistry, bringing services to children in elementary and middle schools all over Indiana.
Outside of the office, she loves all things Star Wars, hopelessly cheering on the Cubs, and lives for the phrase "DIY". She loves anything hands-on, from making homemade cookies and lip balms to "MacGyver-ing" home projects and upcycling just about anything. Since sending her daughter to college this year, she spends her free time traveling back to Chicago, and spoiling her little miniature pinscher, Vinny.
